Supporting Women Leaders in Sport

We are so excited to be working with the Women’s Sport Leadership Academy (WSLA) this year in the design and delivery of their residential programme for 2023.

WSLA provides unique development opportunities for women leaders from around the world to step up, take the lead and make an impact. To enable even more leaders to access the residential, WSLA is this year seeking sponsorship from a number of individuals or organisations.

To date, 389 women leaders based in 63 countries have attended the WSLA programme. Among last year’s group was Alyazia Sultan Al Suwaidi, from the Sharjah Women’s Sports Organisation in the UAE.  She says: “I’ve felt energised being around so many strong women. Having an opportunity like this is rare in the Arab world which is why I am keen to bring it to the UAE. I’ve made many new connections, also learning new communicative skills and leadership qualities.”

Sponsorship in benefits

Sponsorship will enable more current and aspiring senior women leaders of sport to access the WSLA programme and attend the residential week in September at the University of Chichester.

Sponsors will be able to attend as a guest speaker, have their logo present on materials, and join the WSLA Celebration Reception as well as be assured they are enabling the development of women leaders in sport.*
