The theme for our Leading Edge Performance Festive Team Day yesterday was ‘Performance Reflections’ and 30 plus team members converged in Leamington Spa while wearing Christmas jumpers! We were delighted that two members of the number 1 world ranking England Rugby women’s team were able to join us – and brought the recently won WXV trophy!
Sarah Hunter, CBE (England’s all time most capped player, and now Red Roses Coach) and Meg Jones (a 16-time cap Red Rose who has also starred for England Sevens and Team GB) joined us to share some of their Performance Reflections from the year. The year in which the team won the inaugural WXV title, as the only unbeaten team in the tournament.
Having worked closely with the squad since the summer of 2023, the Leading Edge Performance team were delighted to welcome Sarah and Meg and to hear more about their year and the impact of the role we’ve played in developing leadership and culture for this inspirational team.
