How time flies…

Over the past five years, I’ve been privileged to work with some of the most senior, inspirational and influential leaders in the business world. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled the world and seen places I never imagined I’d venture to. I’ve made friendships with those who started out as ‘clients’ and I’ve seen teams develop to realise their true potential.

Being a coach is one of the most rewarding roles to have. I get to watch on as an individual truly starts believing in themselves, goes on to great things and helps to inspire others.

I’ve truly had ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunities working with Leading Edge and it’s certainly been my career highlight. They have challenged me, supported me and helped me bring my best to work. Patrick and Michaela are excellent coaches in their own right, steering, guiding and being totally behind you every step of the way. The Leading Edge team has the family feel, a culture you rarely come across and a genuine care for each other.

So you can imagine making a choice to leave such a fabulous career has been a tough one. But in Leading Edge our purpose is “if it matters to you, it matters to us” and I’ve found a cause that really matters to me and has been tugging on my heart strings for some time now. With that I’ve made the tricky and pretty emotional decision to embark on a new career in supporting our next generation, focusing on children and young people in the care system.

I’m excited, nervous and apprehensive about embarking on my next chapter but know that the learning I’ve had over the last five years will be with me and help me every step of the way.

They say all good things must come to an end… which sounds a little final for me, so for now, I’ll just say cheerio!
